Open Sky House is a community
for conscious awareness.

The new Open Sky House is a 17th century mansion, situated directly on the Rhine between Cologne and Düsseldorf, Germany.

It is open to everybody who has come to the point in their lives where they want to know themselves. Not their stories and dramas, but rather their true nature. 'Who am I?' is the focus within the community.

The ordinary, daily life of the community: cooking, child care, cleaning, personal communication, is used as the background to see the robotic nature of most of our actions. When we are free from our habitual reactions and patterns, the mind becomes still. When we no more believe the noise inside our own head, life transforms.

There is a weekly program including mantra singing and music, films, daily meditations and a regular Monday evening Satsang. Premananda also offers weekend intensives and longer retreats.
The Monday evening Satsang is available, via telephone, in your living room everywhere in the world.

Creativity arises from silence and stillness. The community supports all forms of creative expression. The Open Sky Band provides music for Satsang and community events and enjoyment. We are developing art and dance studios. Each Monday we invite different musicians to give a recital, and larger concerts are planned throughout the year. There is an art gallery for painting, sculpture and photography exhibitions.

The Body Work Centre offers various possibilities to relax the body and calm the mind, bringing you into stillness.
