Prodromos is a modern poet and mystic of our times. His poems express a deep connection to nature which is hidden deep within us.

A strong influence of greek mythology accompanies the poet through all his works. His poems tell of spiritual awakening, silence and deep joy of life. You could say he is Jalaluddin Rumi today.

Prodromos has a very large number of his works that he has collected over thirty years of uninterrupted writing.

The evening will be accompanied by the meditative sounds of the Bansuri flute and a chinese string instrument Ghu Zeng.

    • Mon 9 November 2009 7-8 pm
      African Drums And Gongs

Holger Teuber - composer and bandleader began at the age of sixteen to make music on various african percussion instruments. But again and again he had to ask the question: Why is the fascination of the african drum art so strong inside of me?

From this fundamental question, the search for his own musical identity started, associated with the attempt to break the traditional structures of popular music forms and to season them with foreign sounds. From the beginning, Teuber broke new ground on a fine line between traditional listening habits and unfamiliar new sound connections. With experience in jazz and improvised music an own style of music was formed which now seamlessly blends into the sounds of the world music scene.

    • Mon 2 November 2009 7-8 pm

The chanting of mantras and bhajans (kirtan) and spiritual songs from around the world is a wonderful way to open your heart, awaken inner feelings of love, humility and to experience joy.

From time immemorial, they have illustrated their statements with the help of stories, so did the lamas in Tibet. In this reading Rechungpa Reinhard Kreckel will bring some of these meaningful stories of millennia old wisdoms to an interested audience. Buddhist insight is combined with a humorous view of the world, in which the sacred and the laughter are close together. In connection with the spiritual input Rechungpa is presenting a little concert with singing bowls, gong and voice, whereas healing mantras and overtones are supporting the balance of body and mind.

      Gesang aus der Stille

      Joachim Pfahl - Gesang, Gitarre
Michael Buchmann - Gesang, Harmonium, Monocord
      Laura Grant - Gesang, Cello
